They regularly attend continuing education forums and are always available to provide extra assistance and advice on many topics including puppy training, nutrition, and dental care.

In addition to our resident staff, we regularly consult with skilled specialists in the San Diego area to ensure that your pet benefits from the latest advances in medical technology.

Puppy Classes (four sessions)
by Manuela Mitchell, R.V.T.

Obedience training early in a dog’s life will make it easier to prevent aggression, nuisance behaviors and other bad habits. In our four-week session, meeting one evening per week for 1 to 1.5 hours, we will work on improving the bond between owner and dog. Dogs are trained in a social setting through positive reinforcement—this training is fun for them! Owners will be instructed on how to handle their dogs through body posture, verbal commands and food enticement. Dogs will be taught the five basic commands: Sit, Stay, Come, Down, and Heel. Housebreaking, socialization, basic grooming and parasite control will be discussed, and particular issues will be addressed as they arise. In just four weeks, your dog will learn! Call the office to sign up for the next session.
